Great Bicycle Trails
Bicycling in the Grand Teton National Park

The Grand Teton National Park has been called a paradise; it is breathtakingly beautiful. The jagged Teton Range meets a valley (called Jackson Hole) where there are lakes, the Snake River and meadows of wildflowers. Keep a sharp lookout, you may see moose, buffalo, elk or bear.

Bicycles are not allowed on the off-road trails. Roadways through the park, however, have wide paved shoulders which allow bicycles enough space from traffic for those of us who normally would not ride on a highway to feel comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed biking in the park.

Other activities to enjoy are fishing, mountain climbing, hiking, boating and horseback riding.
