Minnesota's Paul Bunyan State Trail

When completed, the Paul Bunyan State Trail will be a 100-mile multiple use trail between Brainerd/Baxter and Bemidji. Currently 50 miles is paved (asphalt), from Baxter to Hackensack. Plans are to eventually connect this trail with the Blue Ox Trail forming a 210-mile pathway. It will also intersect with the Heartland State Trail.

This wonderful trail goes through quaint little resort villages (with great gift, sandwich and ice cream shops) and through many areas that are being returned to prairie land as it existed years ago. You will love this trail!
