Great Bicycle Trails

Bicycling Along the Omaha Trail

This is a 12.5-mile asphalt trail with endpoints at Camp Douglas and Elroy. There is one beautiful tunnel. The trail goes through Wisconsin farmland - right through a barnyard for a close-up view of life there. We scarred up a hen with her baby chicks along side a garden area. This is bike riding at its best!

When you leave the Interstate in this part of Wisconsin you drop back 50 years. The towns are quaint, the way of life slow and people friendly. A great place to relax.

Isn't this pretty looking from the inside of the tunnel? On the top right is the view from the outside.

We thought the farms on this trail were so pretty that we took all the pictures showing them (middle and bottom right). One of these was a miniature horse farm. The little horses were beautiful!
