The state of Montana "wears a mantle of rugged beauty with an easy, comfortable grace. Grizzlies roam the mountainsides ... lively trout splash in its sparkling, clean rivers ... and golden grasses wave in its endless prairie. All are elements of the character and appeal of 'Big Sky Country'. From secluded forests to spacious, wide horizons, Montana has a special allure. Clearly, this is 'God's Country'."

The above was a quote from George Wuerthner writing in the August/September '92 issue of Country Magazine.

What a beautiful state! While riding through the Big Sky ski area my husband said "I could live here." This from a man who has always declared that he wouldn't live in a remote mountainous area "If they gave me the whole mountain"!!

Montana now has 10 Rail Trails open for a total of 42 miles and eight trail projects with a potential of 305 more miles. How exciting!
