It's easy to see why Idaho is called The Gem State. Eastern Idaho borders Yellowstone/Teton territory. The famous Idaho potatoes are grown on beautiful farms in the middle and southern parts of the state, and northern Idaho is known for its majestic mountains and crystal clear waters.

Idaho is known for its white water rivers and salmon fishing. Here wildlife is abundant -- antelope roam, eagles soar and in the fall you may hear elk and moose bugle.

And besides that, they have great bicycle trails. In addition to many greenway-type trails, they currently have nine rail trails for a total of 135 miles and have 13 trail projects planning an additional 354 miles.

What a state!
