Guilford County Bicentennial Greenway

This is a 16 mile trail system that celebrates the ratification of North Carolina as the 12th state in the union of states. This trail will link (the link is not finished yet) historic Guilford County Courthouse at Battleground Park with High Point City Lake traveling through both urban and rural landscapes of the county.

The paved portion of the trail that we sometimes ride (we most often use this as a walking trail) is from Penny Road at High Point City Lake to Regency Drive. The area is beautiful, the terrain is hilly. It is a place where you can get a good workout!

Parking is available at Gibson Park on West Wendover Avenue and on Piedmont Parkway off Highway 68.
