More Photos of the Burke Gilman/Sammamish River Trails

This is an example of the beautiful flower gardens bordering yards overlooking Lake Washington. How fortunate those people are -- a million dollar view with a bicycle trail right beside their house!

The trail goes through the campus of the University of Washington. We were impressed by its beauty.

My husband was so thrilled when he saw Husky Stadium at the University of Washington. "As many times as I've watched football games played at Husky Stadium -- I never dreamed I would ride a bicycle right up to the gates!"

There are several small park areas along the Sammamish River Trail, and a couple of them have sculptures depicting the salmon that is so popular in the area. This is one.
